Second Grade Honors Junior Harlem Berry '25 as a Black Hero
February 29th, 2024
On the final day of Black History Month, the second grade invited our very own Harlem Berry ‘25 to visit their classroom. Second grade has been studying Black Heroes throughout history with their teachers Ms. Barbara Weaver and Ms. Natalie Ott. As second grader Miles Adams explained to Harlem, “You are our school’s very own hero.” The Class of 2034 was thrilled to visit with Harlem to ask questions about how hard he works, his dreams for the future, what he loves about St. Martin’s, why he chose LSU, and even what is his favorite lunch in Saints Hall!
