The St. Martin's experience is a journey that goes far beyond academics.
Our students enjoy ample opportunities to explore their creativity, step out of their comfort zones, and try new things.
More than 75 percent of St. Martin’s Middle and Upper School students compete in interscholastic athletics, with more than 20 LHSAA-sanctioned teams striving to win championships. Nearly half of those athletes play another sport, participate in the arts, or other extracurricular activities and clubs. At St. Martin’s, students truly can do it all and pursue a variety of interests.
Our challenging learning environment coupled with talented, nurturing faculty, staff, mentors, and coaches ensures our Saints are supported as they strive to reach their full potential.
“Overall, I think I most benefited from the values that I learned on this campus. I became an independent thinker and was taught to be practical. I gained a real understanding of the importance of giving back to your community, and the importance of remembering your faith, and doing what’s right.”
— Allison DeViney ’92 (P ’23, P ’27)
Faith
Spiritual formation is an integral part the St. Martin's experience. Striving to be an embodiment of the Christian faith,
St. Martin’s community honors, celebrates, and worships God as the center of life.
Traditions
St. Martin's celebrates a number of traditions, filled with symbolism and meaning. These traditions connect students, faculty, and staff not only to each other, but also to our past and to alumni through shared experiences.
Advisory Program
Beginning in fifth grade, St. Martin's students are matched in groups of eight to twelve with an advisor who is responsible for facilitating their growth in academics, character, service, and personal growth.
