Cottage Students Meet Community Helpers
November 11th, 2024
Our youngest Saints in the George Cottage have been learning about the important roles community helpers play in serving others. Students recently had the opportunity to meet and learn from a variety of community helpers, including a doctor, dentist, fireman, and police officer.
Each guest gave an engaging presentation, sharing valuable insights about their specific roles and the important work they do to keep our community safe and healthy. The students were not only able to ask questions but also explore real tools and materials used in each profession, offering them a hands-on learning experience.
This interactive, age-appropriate approach also introduced them to the ideas of helping and serving others, a great first look at one of our school's core values: Service.
