The anniversary of America’s remarkable though imperfect founding 250 years ago is an opportunity to evaluate the importance of freedom of speech and freedom of conscience, and of our willingness to speak our minds without fear of silencing.
John Landrum will interview Allan Carey on the importance of these critical freedoms in America’s ongoing journey to protect and expand equal rights, and on modeling effective methods to bring civil discourse and controversial topics into the classroom.
